The Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation (PAHRC) has developed a comprehensive resource webpage as part of the National Housing Preservation Database (NHPD) to help renters and their advocates know whether a property may be covered by the federal eviction moratoriums through the CARES Act

In Tennessee, renters are not eligible for eviction protection through the CARES Act because of the ruling by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appleasl filed on July 23, 2021 in Tiger Lily which affirmed the Western District of Tennessee's holding that the prior version of the CDC's residential eviction moratorium exceeded the statutory authority of the Public Health Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 264.

The resource webpage, however, includes links to other tools that provide information on housing programs not included in the NHPD.
